Russia has not yet discussed the US peace plan for Ukraine, which was received through unofficial channels, with anyone, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said Wednesday, Izvestia reports.
“The peace plan was not discussed in Abu Dhabi. The peace plan has not yet been discussed in detail with anyone. We [i.e. Russia] saw it, it was provided to us, but no discussion has taken place yet,” Ushakov said.
He noted that Russia has not received an official peace agreement document, but the Russian side has several recent versions of US President Donald Trump’s plan. Ushakov added that these documents require serious analysis, but no discussions with the American side have taken place yet.
“I will emphasize again: there has been no serious discussion between the teams of the two countries yet. But communications are continuing. (...). No one has yet sat at a roundtable and discussed it,” the Russian presidential aide concluded.
