Two contract servicemen sustained landmine injuries in Vardenis, Armenia. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) confirmed this information in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“They sustained the injuries in circumstances unrelated to the performance of their service duties and while not performing service duties. Their lives are not in danger. The respective authorities are conducting relevant studies to clarify the remaining circumstances,” the MoD added.
