Cooperation between the European Union (EU) and Armenia is steadily improving. The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, stated this during a press briefing held Tuesday after the sixth meeting of the EU-Armenia Partnership Council, in Brussels.

Today they adopted a new strategic partnership agenda. They will work also in many other areas to assist Armenia’s economic diversification. They will cooperate on visa liberalization and security issues, as well, added Kallas.

On December 27 they will meet with the EU foreign ministers, she said and invited Armenia’s foreign minister to participate in it and discuss Armenia’s resilience, as well as issues related to the elections.

The year 2025 was an important year for EU-Armenia relations. It has been a very important year for Armenia as well, noted the EU foreign policy chief.
