The officer of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia died in circumstances and at a location that had no relation whatsoever to military service, and colleagues at the Ministry of Internal Affairs have provided the respective comment to the media. The Armenian MoD informed this in a statement.

As reported earlier, an officer of the MoD of Armenia has died in Vardenis town as a result of an accident.

In this regard, the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had stated that on Sunday at 1:56pm, a report was received from the Vardenis Medical Center that an ambulance staff was dispatched to a house in Vardenis and recorded the biological death of a man born in 1999.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found this man’s dead body on bed in the bedroom of the aforesaid house.

An external examination revealed no signs of violence on the body.

The prepared documents have been transferred to the Vardenis investigative department.
