Azerbaijan Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Assistant Secretary of the US Department of Transportation, Daniel Edwards, APA reports.

Detailed information was provided at the meeting on the “strategic importance of Azerbaijan as a regional transport and logistics center,” multimodal corridors, and infrastructure projects.

At the same time, views were exchanged on the opening of the “Zangezur corridor,” the acceleration of the TRIPP project, and cooperation with the US in the restoration and modernization of the Nakhchivan railway.

Cooperation in other areas of transport, including aviation and maritime transport, as well as within international organizations, were discussed, too.
