I don’t rule out the participation of the Armenian delegation in any event planned in Baku. Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, told this to reporters Wednesday.

“I don’t think being excluded from, not participating in any regional format would be a correct logic,” Simonyan said.

“I assume there will be contacts between me and the speaker of Azerbaijan’s parliament within the framework of the conference to be held in Istanbul,” the NA speaker added.

Simonyan noted that they will continue to discuss the logic of having contacts in an expanded format, already outside any international context and based on their own decision.
