An urgent situation occurred Friday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, reports shamshyan.com.

At around 3:50am, the police received information that three persons had been taken to a hospital.

At the hospital, the doctors informed the police and patrol officers that the injured were being examined and were unable to give an explanation about what had happened.

Police found out that the injured were taken to the hospital from near a restaurant in downtown Yerevan.

Police determined that the injured are Polish citizens: 36-year-old Lukas K., 44-year-old Lukas B., and 44-year-old Maciej A., and they had been beaten.

They had arrived in Armenia as football fans.
