The gifts were delivered through the US special envoy to Belarus, John Cole, after the closed talks held on December 12 and 13.

Lukashenko had an elegant piece of jewelry prepared with Belarusian motifs for the US first lady, and for the American leader a Christian icon of special value dedicated to Saint Nicholas.

The respective television report also shows the Belarusian president handing several gift boxes to Cole and explaining their recipients.
