The talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations in Berlin will continue Monday, US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff noted Sunday on social media.

The meeting in Berlin between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Witkoff, US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and the US and Ukrainian delegations lasted more than five hours, Witkoff reported.

The representatives held in-depth discussions on the 20-point peace plan, the economic agenda, and other issues. Significant progress has been made, and they will meet again Monday morning, Witkoff added.

The Handelsblatt newspaper and Ukrainian President’s communications adviser Dmytro Lytvyn had previously reported that the Berlin talks would continue on Monday. Handelsblatt had added that the US has preliminarily acknowledged the prospects for success of the Berlin negotiations.
