There is a new batch of goods being brought to Armenia via the territory of Azerbaijan; it is on the way, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan told reporters at the National Assembly on Monday

“Imports [to] are continuing, there are on the way, they will come soon, there are new batches on the road. They will come, after that I will publicize the new countries and the tonnages,” he said.

According to Papoyan, the wheat that arrived in Armenia via Azerbaijan was not fourth-grade but third-grade wheat; everyone ate it, including himself, as the delivered batch was only enough for a few days.

He noted that the newly arriving wheat is of third or second grade.

“There is nothing new regarding the import of Azerbaijani oil products into Armenia. Ask the companies, let them confirm whether there is such a thing or not,” the Armenian economy minister said in response to a question about importing Azerbaijani oil products into Armenia.

Papoyan stated that Azerbaijan is not yet importing fuel via Armenia, but is waiting for a comprehensive settlement.

Earlier, it was reported that the first batch of wheat from Russia reached Armenia via the territory of Azerbaijan. And later it became known that a train loaded with Kazakh wheat arrived in Armenia, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
