The 24th regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation took place in Yerevan Wednesday—and co-chaired by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mher Grigoryan, and Russia’s Deputy Prime, Minister Alexey Overchuk.

The co-chairs of the aforesaid commission reviewed the implementation results of the decisions made at the 23rd meeting of the commission held in Moscow on December 20, 2024. Also, the entire range of trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between Armenia and Russia was analyzed, and further steps for the development of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats were outlined.

Furthermore, the two parties paid special attention to the energy, industry, transport, agriculture, digitalization, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism sectors between the two countries.

Subsequently, Grigoryan and Overchuk signed the protocol of the 24th meeting of the aforesaid commission.

A number of bilateral documents at the level of Russian and Armenian ministries were also signed with the participation of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
