There are some issues regarding the tariffs of Georgian railways for future cargo transportation between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told this to a press briefing Thursday.

“If these issues are not resolved, I hope that the businesses will look for alternative ways to ensure imports and exports,” Pashinyan added.

As reported earlier, Armenian economy minister Gevorg Papoyan confirmed to Armenian News-NEWS.am Thursday that 20 railcars loaded with Azerbaijani fuel will arrive in Armenia in the coming days.

Earlier, Georgia had expressed readiness to zero the transit tariff for the first shipment of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia.

But Azerbaijani media report that Tbilisi demanded a very high tariff for future transit of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
