YEREVAN. – Chairman Khachatur Kokobelyan of Armenia’s non-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and chairman Raffi Hovannisian of the parliamentary opposition Heritage Party discussed the chances of jointly running in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Kokobelyan informed this during a press conference on Monday.      

In his words, Heritage is that force which stood with the people until the end during the last elections, and it fought until the end. 

Also, as per Khachatur Kokobelyan, the two parties have ideological similarities; and the matter of running in the next parliamentary elections with a united list will be resolved during the two parties’ upcoming congresses.    

The leader of Free Democrats informed that their congress will be convened within March 2-10. He added that although their election list is not yet prepared, it is apparent that it will include people with a political influence.
