Seismologists have recorded an earthquake in the Caspian Sea, which occurred Tuesday morning.
The quake had a magnitude of 5.3 and an energy class of K=13.1.
The seismic activity occurred near Turkmenistan.
It epicenter was at a depth of 57 kilometers, and the tremors were felt by some people near the epicenter, according to VolcanoDiscovery.com.
The countries closest to the epicenter are Turkmenistan (89 km), Azerbaijan (120 km), and Kazakhstan (132 km).
