Eight people were killed when a car fell into a pond in China, the Pengpai newspaper reports.
The accident occurred in Pengze County of southeastern Jiangxi Province.
According to police, a 49-year-old woman was driving the vehicle.
All those in the car died before the arrival of rescue services and doctors.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident.
