Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, on Wednesday. This was noted in a statement by the public relations department of the Turkish presidential office.

According to the statement, during the conversation, Erdogan stated that Turkey and Azerbaijan continue to work towards achieving their objectives of cooperation in all domains, and first of all, in trade.

Erdogan added that Turkey is following with satisfaction the progress of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and supports this process.
