The Armenian government does not have an agenda to exclude Russia from Armenia, to sever political, economic and other ties with Russia, such a policy is not pursued, and this is directly stated also to our international partners. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this on the air of Public Television of Armenia.

“The deepening of our relations with the EU does not aim to sever ties with Russia. If one day the question of becoming a member of the EU arises, the question cannot but arise regarding the Eurasian Economic Union. When that moment comes, we will sit down and make a decision. Our relations with the EU are gradually deepening,” said the Armenian foreign minister.

Also, he assured that a matter of pulling out the Russian 102nd Military Base in Gyumri, Armenia is not on the agenda of the Armenian authorities.

And when asked whether Russia is threatening Armenia with a hybrid war, as a European official said while providing financial assistance to Armenia, FM Mirzoyan responded: "Doesn't a significant part of the disinformation come from an X Russian expert, an MP? Therefore, hybrid threats can come from different places, including Russia."
