Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan on Tuesday received the newly appointed Ambassador of Qatar to Armenia Mansoor Abdulla Al-Sulaitin on the occasion of the latter’s presenting copies of his credentials, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the conversation following the presentation ceremony, the Armenian deputy FM congratulated Ambassador Al-Sulaitin on assuming this diplomatic mission in Armenia, and expressed confidence that the appointment of the first resident ambassador of Qatar to Armenia will contribute to the further expansion of relations between the two countries.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current high level of bilateral relations between Armenia and Qatar, and expressed readiness to continue work to realize the great potential of cooperation in the economic, energy, scientific, cultural, and a number of other domains, and to discover new opportunities.
