The Iranian authorities will not show tolerance towards rebels, Chief Justice Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said in the wake of the ongoing protests in Iran.

“There will be no concessions or tolerance towards the rebel elements. The enemy does not even hide its clear support for the rebels. Therefore, we will not accept any excuses or apologies from the rebels, their supporters, or their leaders,” Ejei said, according to IRIB.

The protests in Iran began in late December 2025 due to the sharp devaluation of the local currency, the rial.
