Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has outlined the terms of talks with the US, and confirmed the Iranian side's readiness for them. However, in his opinion, these talks should be based on the principles of mutual respect and interests, Al Arabiya quoted him as saying at a press conference in Beirut.
Araghchi announced that Iran is ready for war. He noted that the purpose of his visit to Lebanon is to expand bilateral ties and discuss the challenges and threats posed by Israel to regional security.
In early January, protests started in Iran. And parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf threatened to strike US military bases if they interfere in the events unrolling in Iran.
