I will attend the Holy and Immortal Liturgy on the upcoming and all future Sundays, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a video he posted on Facebook.
He added as follows, in particular: “Of course, the exception will be cases where there is a work or other insurmountable reason, and secondly, I will not generally announce where I will attend the liturgy. Why? Because I believe that the supporters of the reform of this Holy Apostolic Church of Armenia should attend the liturgy in all churches and speak with Christian love and persuasion, discuss with the priests so that they do not mention the name of Ktrich Nersisyan [i.e. the birth name of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II] during the Holy and Immortal Liturgy.
I believe this should be the most important thing for supporters of the reform agenda in the future. I emphasize again: with Christian love, in a tolerant direction, and using the Christian persuasive power. (...). And next Sunday I will attend the liturgy; but as we agreed, I will not announce in advance where. Thank you.”
