Yerevan and Baku are negotiating the possibilities of exporting aluminum foil, aluminum foil raw materials, ferromolybdenum, pets, brandy raw materials, cigarettes, and textile products from Armenia to Azerbaijan. The minister of economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, stated in an interview with Factor.am.
“There are also Azerbaijani companies that have expressed interest in importing specific products [from Armenia]. The Azerbaijani side has submitted a list of specific products that interest them, we have sent the quantity that we can export. Roses, greenhouse products—tomatoes, peppers—are also on our list. We have offered the approximate price,” Papoyan added.
The minister of economy of Armenia has not yet specified the dates of the first exports. But according to him, this will happen when the Armenian and Azerbaijani companies reach an agreement.
