Some staff of the French embassy in Tehran have left Iran amid ongoing unrest in the country, AFP reports.
The recalled staff are non-essential members of the diplomatic mission, and they left Iran on January 11 and 12.
The exact number of those recalled, however, is not specified.
The French embassy in Iran usually employs about 30 foreigners and several dozen local staff.
