The European Parliament is calling for new sanctions against Iran, European Parliament president Roberta Metsola has said.
Metsola on Monday announced that she had banned Iranian diplomats and other representatives from entering the European Parliament buildings in Brussels.
“Europe needs to act—and fast,” the European Parliament president told Politico. “We will support any future measures taken at EU level.”
