The ongoing processes around Iran were not discussed during the meeting with the US Secretary of State. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during a live broadcast from Washington after his meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.

Responding to the question of whether the sanctions announced by the US against countries cooperating with Iran were discussed, the Armenian FM assured that the processes around Iran were not discussed and there was not a single word about it during this meeting.
