Armenia is among the 75 countries whose citizens the US has suspended visas, Fox News reports Earlier, Fox News, citing the US State Department, had noted a number of countries affected by this measure: Somalia, Haiti, Russia, Iran, and Eritrea.

In addition to the countries mentioned in the previous statement of the State Department, these countries are also included with Armenia: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Myanmar, Ghana, Gambia, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Dominica, Egypt, Ethiopia, Yemen, Thailand, Tunisia, Iraq, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Kosovo, South Sudan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Jamaica, Macedonia, Morocco, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Montenegro, Pakistan, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Syria, Georgia, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Kuwait, and Fiji.

This US visa suspension will begin on January 21. But it will not apply to tourist, business, or non-immigrant visa applications.
