An emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Iran may be held Thursday, based on a request from the US, a Security Council source told TASS.
But the permanent mission of Somalia, which chairs the UN Security Council in January, did not respond to the question about whether the holding of this meeting at the initiative of Washington had been approved.
