The Silk Way Airlines planes carrying Azerbaijani arms have started flying over Armenian airspace, Sputnik Armenia reports.

“The other day, a journalist recorded one of such flights over Armenia’s airspace on the Flightradar24 platform. The plane was flying from [the Azerbaijani exclave of] Nakhichevan to [Azerbaijani capital] Baku. Moreover, the Il-76 plane reached Nakhichevan from the capital of Azerbaijan via Georgia and Turkey.

Armaeronavigatsia [i.e. the Armenian Air Traffic Services] has confirmed that such a flight had been made over Armenian territory. Moreover, it was reported here that this is not the first flight—similar flights were also recorded in 2025 due to difficult weather conditions,” Sputnik Armenia wrote on Telegram.
