Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev commented on the situation in Iran.

He confidently stated that his government is not threatened from within, traditionally attempting to seek external enemies.

Aliyev added that the situation in neighboring regions is always in the center of attention in Baku.

He assured that the possible destabilization around Iran is a cause for concern.

Iran is home to a large number of ethnic Azerbaijanis, whom Baku uses to undermine the situation in the Islamic Republic.
