Russia is following the development of the situation surrounding the Armenian Apostolic Church with regret, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, TASS reports.
“As for the approach towards the Armenian Apostolic Church, we [i.e. Russia], of course, are following with regret how the situation is developing,” Lavrov said.
And as for Armenia’s statements about the existence of hybrid threats from Russia in the situation related to the Armenian Apostolic Church, Lavrov noted that Russia treats them with bewilderment.
“This cannot cause anything but bewilderment for us [i.e. Russia],” the Russian foreign minister said.
