The TRIPP project has received significant political attention, which is certainly a good thing, but it is, first and foremost, an investment project. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly of Armenia, while answering questions from MPs.

“In other words, politics is gradually being pushed to the background, whereas the investment program—to the foreground,” Pashinyan added.

Regarding concerns about TRIPP not reaching Yeraskh border village, the Armenian premier recalled that just last week, representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia jointly visited the Yeraskh-Sadarak section and inspected the condition of this railway.

“Why are they studying the current situation? To restore rail traffic,” Pashinyan noted.
