Relations between Armenia and the US continue to develop, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated in his address Wednesday at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) session in Strasbourg, France.

The Armenian FM noted that Yerevan and Washington are exploring new domains and horizons for deepening their bilateral cooperation.

Currently, they see the respective readiness and intentions of both parties, and believe that this will ensure their progress in increasing their cooperation, added Mirzoyan.

He recalled that last year Armenia and the US signed a document on strategic cooperation, the readiness of which was confirmed by the administration of US President Donald Trump.

During the Peace Summit held in Washington on August 8 of last year, Armenia and the US signed a number of memoranda, through which both countries have confirmed their intentions to deepen their relations. Also, they have completed negotiations that will enable the start cooperation in nuclear energy, added the Armenian foreign minister.
