Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday received a delegation led by Klaus Scheitegel, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Austrian company GRAWE, and Andreas Wimmer, Managing Director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the C–Quadrat Investment Group.
The chances of GRAWE’s entering Armenia’s insurance market were discussed at the meeting, the Armenian PM’s office informs. In this connection, the premier of Armenia emphasized the importance of engaging reputable international companies in the insurance sector of the country and the consistent development of this sector. Also, Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government is ready for constructive cooperation and discussion of further steps in this regard. In addition, the PM emphasized the fact of the productive activities of the C–Quadrat Investment Group in Armenia.
In turn, Klaus Scheitegel presented GRAWE’s activities in various countries and noted that they are also interested in entering Armenia’s insurance market. He added that they are effectively cooperating with the Central Bank of Armenia and are ready to continue the talks for the implementation of investment programs in the country.
