The first group of Palestinians has entered the Gaza Strip from Egypt after receiving treatment in the country’s hospitals, reports the Al-Qahira Al-Ekhbariya television of Egypt.

The bus carrying these residents of Gaza entered this Palestinian enclave through the Rafah border crossing and, accompanied by World Health Organization vehicles, headed for the southern city of Khan Yunis.

All Palestinians returning to their homeland will undergo medical examinations upon arrival.

The exact number of Palestinians on this bus, however, has not yet been reported.
