US President Donald Trump said he had spoken with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
"I spoke to him [i.e. Putin]. I want him to end the war [i.e. the Ukraine conflict]," Trump said at the White House.
But he did not disclose the details or date of this conversation.
