The French Senate on Tuesday unanimously voted in favor of a resolution demanding the release Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan, according to Mourad Papazian, co-president of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF).
The resolution, tabled by Laurent Wauquiez and proposed by the France-Armenia Friendship Group, received 183 votes in favor out of the 183 senators in attendance.
