Nuclear talks with the United States are scheduled to be held in Muscat on about 10am Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted on X.
"I'm grateful to our Omani brothers for making all necessary arrangements," Araghchi added.
Earlier, the US had informed Iran that it would not agree to change the venue and format of the talks scheduled for Friday at Tehran's request. The deadlock could hinder diplomatic progress and persuade US President Donald Trump to resort to military action, it had noted.
