Armenian National Assembly (NA) speaker Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to Russia, on Thursday met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the NA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors discussed a wide scope of matters regarding the bilateral interests. The sides exchanged views also on cooperation within the EAEU, the CIS, and on other international platforms.

Among other matters, a separate reference was made to the changes in the migration rules made in the Russian legislation referring to foreign citizens, in particular, to the resultant problems that arose for Armenian drivers carrying out cargo transportation to Russia, and the measures taken to resolve them.

Reference was made also to some other matters concerning regional developments.
