Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the recently appointed Iranian ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the press service of the government of Armenia.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Armenian deputy premier congratulated the Iranian diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his important mission in Armenia. Also, Grigoryan emphasized the importance of developing Armenia’s relations with Iran.

Both sides underscored the work of the intergovernmental commission operating between the two countries.

Regional developments were also touched upon during the talk.
