A telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry informs.

During the conversation, cooperation within the framework of the allied bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, joint efforts in international organizations and multilateral platforms, as well as the situation in regional security were discussed.

In addition, an exchange of views took place on the situation in the Middle East, the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as some other matters of mutual interest.
