As for customs, last year the notification system was launched, which enables organizing most of the customs processes completely remotely. Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, Eduard Hakobyan, told this to a press conference Tuesday.

“We have launched very important major reforms in 2025. One of them is a new unified electronic platform for land, the other is the Exim information platform, which we will launch soon and which in turn has revolutionary significance (...).

We will soon establish a monitoring center in cooperation with the US, which will enable to intelligently monitor all our X-ray devices at land points.

The next step, of course, is the introduction of a unified customs account, which enables customs payments to be made through a single account and significantly ease the associated bureaucratic burden for businesses," added the SRC chief.
