Grain deliveries to Armenia via Azerbaijan have become regular. Sergey Pavlov, First Deputy Managing Director of Russian Railways, announced this at the company's board meeting.

Pavlov noted that in connection with the lifting of restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia via Azerbaijan, the first grain train from Russia to Armenia was sent in November 2025 after a long break.

"Deliveries have now become regular. We [i.e. the Russian Railways] plan to further develop deliveries along this route," Pavlov added.
