The acceptance of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity by the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan means that both sides once again record at the highest level that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during Wednesday’s question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly of Armenia.

In his opinion, this creates a positive environment around Armenia.

“This does not mean that all issues related to the conflict have been resolved. But the conflict is over, which creates prerequisites for resolving the problems related to the conflict. These prerequisites need to be able to be used correctly,” added Pashinyan.

The Armenian premier reiterated that peace “always needs care.”
