The Omani authorities have delivered several American messages to the Iranian side after the first round of indirect talks, according to Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.

"We [i.e. Iran] have not sent any letters to the Americans, but our friends in Oman have delivered several American messages to us, which we will discuss in Tehran," Larijani said on Iranian state television after a visit to Oman and Qatar.

A new round of talks between Iran and the US on resolving the nuclear crisis took place in Oman on February 6. Earlier, the White House warned that it was seriously considering the use of force against Iran.
