The US plans to build small modular reactors in Armenia are beautiful business proposals, but the US has not yet built a single small modular reactor, not to mention launching or, even more so, their industrial operation, said the secretary of the Russian Security Council.

“Yes, there are several companies in the US that do this. Yes, they all have very appealing business proposals. But, as they say, there are nuances,” Sergey Shoigu said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The Russian Security Council chief added that the Americans, who have not built a single small modular reactor, have no experience in their industrial operation.
