The brother of King Charles III, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of all his royal titles due to his links to Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested in the UK, according to the BBC.
Police have arrested him on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Law enforcement officials said they were investigating a complaint that the former prince provided confidential materials to Epstein.
A huge trove of documents in the Epstein case released in the US revealed that Andrew had provided Epstein with reports of his trips to Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam, as well as confidential details of investment opportunities.
Andrew turned 66 on Thursday. He has repeatedly denied all the accusations against him and claimed that he has not taken any illegal steps.
