In eastern India, in waters near Visakhapatnam, the international naval exercise MILAN-2026 is continuing, bringing together 74 countries that maintain friendly relations with India, including the United States, Russia, and Iran.

During the drills, the Indian Navy is demonstrating its operational capabilities. More than 60 Indian warships are taking part, among which the aircraft carrier Vikrant stands out in particular. It is India’s first indigenously built aircraft carrier and is regarded as the flagship pride of the navy, symbolizing the country’s ambitions to achieve self-reliance in the defense industry.

Our correspondent Hayk Sahakyan, currently in India, had the opportunity to board the carrier and learn about its capabilities.
