Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan on Monday received Arthur Erken, Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia at the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Kostanyan lauded Armenia’s cooperation with the IOM since the establishment of its Yerevan office, particularly highlighting the role of the IOM in addressing the problems of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Armenian deputy foreign minister presented the steps being taken in Armenia towards the integration of refugees, including referring to the document “Inclusive Livelihoods National Framework” for refugees and host communities, which outlines the Armenian government’s strategy in this direction for the next three years.
Reference was made to the housing and employment programs as well.
