Based on the agreements reached during the previous round, Iran will resume talks with the US in Geneva to reach a fair agreement as soon as possible, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has noted on X.
Iran’s fundamental beliefs in this regard are very clear: The country will never develop nuclear weapons under any circumstances, but the Iranian people will never give up the right to enjoy the benefits of peaceful nuclear technology, Araghchi added.
According to him, a historic opportunity has arisen to sign an unprecedented agreement that will dispel mutual concerns and ensure the realization of mutual interests.
As per the Iranian FM, a deal is possible, but only if diplomacy is given priority.
“We [i.e. Iran] have proven that we will stop at nothing to guard our sovereignty with courage. We bring the same courage to the negotiating table, where we will pursue a peaceful resolution to any differences," Abbas Araghchi concluded.
