Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows: Last Sunday, after the liturgy with [PM Nikol] Pashinyan's participation in the Holy Archangels Church in Sevan, during which the name of the Catholicos of All Armenians [Karekin II] was not left out, Pashinyan's team is confused—they do not understand at all: has the "boss" washed his hands of the campaign against the [Armenian Apostolic] Church and the Catholicos? Or has he taken a break before the "big war" and does not want to lose voters [in the parliamentary election in June]?

Inside the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction], they are inclined to believe that at least a ceasefire will be signed [with the Armenian Apostolic Church] at this phase, and they will wait for the results of the parliamentary elections, after which, if they win on June 7, the issue will be resolved by itself, and the Catholicos will voluntarily leave [office].

But continuing the campaign [against the Armenian Apostolic Church] at this phase may take votes away from them, so they need to take a break; the campaign against the [Armenian Apostolic] Church before the parliamentary elections only damages their standing.
